Come on, you knew it was coming

Okay, Okay...I couldn't be the only one without a blog so instead of getting sleep I am up writing you all stories about what a horrible mother I am. I am reading both my sisters blogs and realizing that they are filled with stories of love, potty traning with sticker and buying motorcross bikes and here I am telling you that I just poored 1/2 bottle of soap in my sons face!!

Oh, I am sure by the end of these blogs you all will be ready to contact DHS but as family and friends I would hope that you will leave that up to all of the strangers that will see Tader through the years. It has been 4 months and no DHS...That is a milestone for Tom and me. Maybe Kara will give us a sticker!

Happy Reading!

Rubber Ducky

Tader had a rough day today...Eversince his stint in the hospital with RSV, Tader decided that he liked all of the attention, cuddle time with Mommy and Daddy and extra hugs and kisses he got in the hospital. Apparently he really enjoys this time at 1am. 2am, 3am and of course don't leave out 4am!! Well Mommy and Daddy are all HUGGED OUT! Slade's new pediatrician told us that he just needs to cry it out in the middle of the night!!! GOOD TIMES let me tell ya! Last night was our first night and he only cried once for 22 minutes...THANK YOU GOD!! That rough night then turned into a rough day. Lack of sleep by the Tader (mommy and daddy slept pretty good for a change) and the fact that he didn't poop turned into to bad naps and a lot of fussiness. Tader was finally ready to calm down and enjoy his bath, a time of day that he really enjoys and loves. I am sure his little brain was saying... uhhhh finally some peace and quiet. NOT SO MUCH!! As I was singing Rubby Ducky your the one, rubby ducky lots of fun, rubby ducky I am awfully fond of you (do do da do) I poored 1/2 a bottle of soap in Taders eyes, nose and mouth. Do you know what you have to do to a kid after you poor 1/2 a bottle of soap in his eyes...Yes it gets worse. You then have to continueously poor water over him - I would say about 1/2 a gallon. Yes, just like a recipe from Rachel Ray, make sure you have equal parts of water to baby shampoo. But first you have to trick the kid into opening his eyes again so you can soak them with water. After the crying stop and MOM did stop crying eventually, he was ready for bed!
